How much does a private driver in Bali cost? +
A full-day driver (8–10 hours) costs between IDR 500,000–700,000 (roughly $30–$45 USD) depending on the route and vehicle type. Airport transfers start at IDR 200,000.
Can I pay in cash or do I need a credit card? +
Cash is fine! We accept IDR, USD, and AUD. No deposit, no credit card required. You pay your driver directly at the end of the trip.
Do you provide child seats? +
Yes, we have baby seats and booster seats available at no extra charge. Just let us know when you book.
What areas do you cover? +
All of Bali. We regularly service Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, Ubud, Sanur, Uluwatu, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Lovina, Amed, Sidemen, and everywhere in between. We also organize transfers to the fast boat ports for Nusa Penida, Gili Islands, and Lombok.
Is it better to use Grab or a private driver? +
For a single short trip, Grab works. But for airport pickups, full-day exploring, or anything outside the main tourist areas, a private driver is more reliable, more comfortable, and often cheaper per hour. Plus, many areas in Bali restrict Grab drivers.
How far in advance should I book? +
We recommend booking at least 24 hours in advance during peak season (July–August, December–January). For Nusa Penida tours, 2–3 days ahead is ideal. Off-season, same-day bookings are usually fine.
